Lincoln ? Nebraska continued preparations for Saturday?s game with Missouri with a two-hour practice Wednesday afternoon on the grass practice fields. The 96th renewal of the Missouri-Nebraska series is set to kickoff at 11:36 a.m. at Memorial Stadium.

"It was another day of hard work for them in full pads," Head Coach Frank Solich said. "I thought they pushed through it pretty well. The weather was ideal for them, and it has been a good week."

The Huskers await a Missouri squad that features redshirt freshman quarterback Brad Smith. He accounted for 213 yards and two touchdowns on the ground against the Oklahoma defense, while throwing for 178 yards and a score, in the Tigers 31-24 loss. The Tigers are now 3-2 overall and 0-1 in Big 12 play.

"Our guys have worked very hard throughout the week of practice," Solich said. "And I?m very pleased with what we have gotten accomplished."

Solich said the injury situation remains the same and that no one has been ruled out of Saturday?s game. The Huskers will return to the practice field on Thursday in Memorial Stadium. Coach Solich will be available to the media following practice.
