Lincoln ? The Nebraska football team practiced for two hours Monday afternoon inside Memorial Stadium in full pads, as the Huskers begin game-week preparations for 13th-ranked Colorado. The Buffaloes visit Lincoln on Friday for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff that will be broadcast nationally by ABC.

"Today was a good solid practice with the first teams getting some work against each other," Head Coach Frank Solich said. "We finished up with some major contact work."

Nebraska quarterback Jammal Lord was at full speed for Monday?s practice. He returned to practice on Friday in half pads, after missing three days of practice last week.

"He moved around and functioned well," Solich said. "He operated the entire practice and showed no signs of anything bothering him. He looks like he is back to full speed."

The Huskers will return to the practice field on Tuesday in half pads. Coach Solich and players will be available to the media following practice. Because of Friday?s game, Tuesday will be the final day for player interviews this week.
