Coach Mack Brown - Post practice interview

Lincoln ? The Nebraska football team practiced for two hours in sweats and helmets inside Cook Pavilion on Thursday, as the Huskers finished up preparations for Saturday?s 6 p.m. kickoff with No. 7 Texas. The game will be carried nationally on Fox Sports Net.

"We capped of a very good week with today?s practice," Head Coach Frank Solich said. "They are preparing to play an excellent football game, because that is what it is going to take. Texas has an outstanding football team that they will be bringing to town. We expect a very physical football game and I?m sure both teams are looking forward to it."

Texas enters the contest with a 7-1 record, including a 3-1 mark in Big 12 play. The all-time series is tied between the two tradition-rich school at four games apiece. Nebraska won the last meeting 22-6 in San Antonio to capture the 1999 Big 12 Championship.

Texas will walk-through at Memorial Stadium at 2 p.m. on Friday. Nebraska?s walk-through is scheduled for 3:30 with Coach Solich addressing the media prior to the start. Cameras will be allowed to shoot the first five minutes of the walk-through.
