A pair of former Huskers helped the Green Bay Packers to a NFL-best 7-1 record after Monday's 24-10 victory over Miami. Running back Ahman Green (1995-97) rushed for 72 yards on 19 carries, while catching six passes for 71 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown, and now ranks third in the NFC with 712 rushing yards this season. Cornerback Tyrone Williams (1993-95) also turned in a strong performance, leading the Packers with nine tackles and adding a forced fumble and a pass breakup, as Green Bay forced four Miami turnovers in the win. They are joined on the Packers by defensive tackle Steve Warren (1996-99), who missed Monday's game with a knee injury, rookie Erwin Swiney (1997-2001), who has split his first NFL season between the active roster and the practice squad, and Scott Frost (1996-97), who is on injured reserve after suffering a season-ending injury in the preseason. A full recap of Huskers in the NFL is listed below.
