Steve Hinerman is entering his fourth season as video coordinator for the Husker men’s basketball team. Hinerman also assists with administrative duties within the basketball office, including on-campus recruiting and summer camps.

Hinerman is in charge of all aspects of video operations for the men's basketball program, including film exchange, filming workouts and games, breaking down game film, and helping the team prepare for opponents by utilizing the latest state-of-the-art technology. He also oversees a pair of student assistants who are assigned with daily tasks, including filming practices. He handles all video needs for the coaches during road trips, organizes the video library and handles the maintenance of the equipment.

Before joining the full-time staff, Hinerman spent three years as video manager for the team while completing his undergraduate degree. Overall, he has spent the past eight years working with the NU men’s basketball team.

A native of Eagle, Neb., Hinerman earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nebraska in 2002. Hinerman married the former Ashley Johnson in June 2005.
